    1. Activate test

Once you’ve made your purchase, you’ll receive an email confirmation which will include your unique registration number.

You’ll then need to head to our submission form page to activate your test. It’s important to complete all parts of the online form as this will help our laboratory team and ensure you receive your results as soon as possible. If you’ve ordered more than one test, each one will need to be activated individually.

PLEASE NOTE: No physical kit is sent to you. Following your purchase, you will receive an email with instructions what to do next and how to return your sample to our testing facility.

    2. Collect sample

We only require a few strands of hair for testing. If your pet's hair is longer than an inch, 10 strands should be sufficient. If it is shorter than an inch, we recommend taking 10-15 strands.

We can test any of your pet's body hair except from the pubic area. When cutting the hair, cut as close to the root as possible.

Once your pet's hair sample is collected place the strands into a small, sealable bag to ensure the hair remains dry and secure during transit, and place that into a secure mailing envelope.

Please take care and apply the correct postage to make sure your sample will arrive at our testing laboratory. We recommend sending your sample using a priority tracked service.

    4. Receive your results

Once your pet's sample is received by our laboratory, we’ll send you an email notification to let you know it has arrived safely by email and text message.

It is then analysed by our team of experts against a range of food & non-food products, and your PDF report will be delivered securely by email within 3 working days.

The report will help guide you to eliminate or avoid the items causing your pet physical discomfort.
